The first site I found that got my advertising for dollars on its starting road is Google Adsense
You go to that link and first apply for an account they will get back to you soon. When they do then you’ll know what steps to take next they will walk you thru the process fairly easily. Let me tell you that google has a strict policy that will discontinue your account for dishonest affiliates. So read the terms and Conditions carefully. After you got approved account you need to decide what you want on your site. They have options for text links to your site to youtube profits. Also search bars to put on your site and feeds. So the options are big enough to get what your looking for and ad more than one type if youd like. Well wow here it is. I have been doing research this morning on ways to occupy my time and help others and so far I have found a place called Daytipper.com
